Why we're here.
We started this ministry because we saw how many people want to give, but don’t always know how to start. Others have a desire to leave a legacy, but aren’t sure what steps to take.

We walk alongside you, helping you think through generosity, legacy, and family all through the lens of God’s Word.

Our retreat series, Living Your Legacy, is one way we help you take that journey. But even more, we want to create a community of believers who live out Kingdom generosity with joy, purpose, and faith.
Meet the Founders.
Our story began nearly 40 years ago when God brought us together and began writing a life of shared purpose. Through the years, we’ve built businesses, raised a family, and enjoy time with our children and grandchildren.

Pamela spent much of her career leading a financial planning firm where she helped people prepare for the future through biblical principles. Her heart was to help others discover the freedom and joy that comes when faith and finances work together.​
Phil has spent over four decades teaching leadership and management—guiding small businesses, churches, and Fortune 100 companies alike. His passion has always been helping others grow into the leaders God created them to be.

In 2022, after Pamela sold her practice, we took time to rest, travel, and enjoy the blessings of family. Yet even in that season of rest, we sensed God stirring something new—a call to use what we’ve learned, both spiritually and professionally, to serve others in a deeper way.

That calling became Sowers for the Harvest: a ministry devoted to helping believers discover the joy of generosity, steward their resources with eternal purpose, and cultivate a legacy that will outlive them and reflect the heart of Jesus. Our hope is to come alongside others who, like us, want to live not just successfully, but significantly—investing their lives in what truly lasts.
