Journey Deeper into Kingdom Generosity & Eternal Purpose

A four‑part retreat series to deepen your walk with Christ, embrace generous living, and live out a spiritual legacy.

Retreat I : Ordinary People Extraordinary Impact

Friday afternoon to Saturday evening

This opening retreat invites participants to draw closer to the Lord and recognize that He calls each of us—ordinary people—to live with extraordinary purpose. We will discuss the amazing stories behind historic Christian heroes recounted by John Rinehart in his book Gospel Patrons. We can all be partners in God’s story, called to follow Him with confidence.

In this session, we will explore biblical generosity in multiple areas of life, including marriage, business, and ministry. This is not a one-size-fits-all model—it’s about creating intentional space to listen to the Holy Spirit and discern God’s unique desire for your life.

.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things and at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

God is incredibly generous. As we study and reflect, we will explore why His generous nature matters to us and how we are invited to reflect that generosity in our own lives.

Key Focus Areas:

Understanding our role in God’s story

Exploring biblical generosity in different life contexts

Deepening your personal walk with Christ

Beginning to reflect on the legacy you want to leave

Retreat II : Giving With Purpose & Investing For Eternal Purpose

Saturday Morning to Saturday Evening

God has placed causes and people on each of our hearts—and part of our journey is discerning where He is calling us to give. Through personal stories, ministry spotlights, and group discussion, participants will begin to identify Kingdom causes that align with their passions and values.

We’ll also dive into values-aligned investing. Our portfolios can reflect our faith. You'll be introduced to tools that help evaluate your current investments and consider how they might be realigned to create lasting Kingdom impact.

.

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Since God has prepared our hearts in advance for good works, isn’t it worth the time to discover the purpose woven into who we are in Christ?

Building a giving plan that’s personal and purposeful

Retreat III : The Heart of the Giver

Saturday Morning to Saturday Evening

This retreat focuses on the inner heart of the giver. How we give matters—and so does the condition of our hearts. Through Scripture, prayer, and honest conversation, we’ll explore what it means to give cheerfully, sacrificially, and faithfully.

We’ll also cover practical methods of giving, from donor-advised funds to appreciated assets to creative strategies for maximizing impact. By the end of this session, participants will begin developing their Road Map to Wealth Transfer—a personalized plan that combines spiritual vision with practical strategy.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV)

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Retreat IV : Finishing Well

Friday afternoon to Saturday evening

A legacy doesn’t start at the end of your life—it starts now. In this final retreat, we’ll focus on how to live your legacy today through meaningful relationships with your children and grandchildren, and loved ones.

We’ll also walk through the practical side of legacy planning: preparing for a meeting with your estate attorney, choosing the right advisor, and designing a joyful, transparent family meeting to share your heart and plans.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (NIV)

“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

Imagine passing on a legacy where God’s word is imprinted on the hearts of our children and grandchildren. We will learn God-honoring strategies to do just that—so we leave a living testimony for generations to come.

Together, we’ll reflect on the full journey, celebrate what we’ve learned, and encourage one another to finish well—with clarity, peace, and purpose.
